We have an ENVIRONMENT THAT CREATES THE DESIRE TO EXCEL

A student of the Monroe School of Tae Kwon Do is taught that positive progress is dependent on four basic principles:

  • DO YOUR BEST! — High Self Expectency.  A martial artist is someone who “does their best” in all areas of life.  Success comes through 100% effort and application.  We learn to focus on the rewards of success, not the penalties of failure.
  • POSITIVE POWER! — Your attitude determines your altitude!  The power to turn a negative into a positive is ours.  We learn to expect the best outcome.  We perform with less stress because we learn to focus on the rewards of success, not the penalties of failure.
  • GOAL ORIENTATION! — We focus on achievement in small reachable steps.  We break barriers by overcoming them piece by piece!  We can do anything because the human spirit is born to succeed and our minds are engineered for success.
  • BE A STUDENT! — Our strength is an open mind.  We learn from everything and everyone.  We stop growing if we stop learning.  We are hungry for knowledge.  We use the team (each other) because many minds are stronger than one.

An improvement in a students performance is achieved through a mature change in values and attitudes.

Our environment produces positive change.  It motivates and creates the desire to excel.
